Bestselling author Christopher Ryan came to the Bend to see what we've got going on round these parts. Sparkroot's Alisa Esposito chatted him up on Facebook after hearing him interviewing Daniel Pinchbeck on his podcast, Tangentially Speaking. He mentioned his desire to finish off his new book, Civilized to Death, with stories of people and projects aiming to "redesign the human zoo" to be more compassionate to our indigenous souls. Soon Alisa and Chris were skyping, and setting up airline arrangements and a stay in the Bower.
Chris interviewed four of us Bendfolk for his podcast: Alisa, Chef Kabui, Godi Godar, and Lyle Estill. Alisa's podcast will be the first to air on August 7. We'll post a link as they each get up and running.
Thanks for joining us here Chris! It was a blast!
